This Privacy Policy explains how Belinda Jackson (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit belindajackson.com and its related pages, including the Eden Series, Our Watchers, Journal My Day, Little Story Explorers, and My Hero Legacy sections (together, the “Site”).
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you join our newsletter, download a free activity pack, submit a contact or speaking-request form, or register through a partner program, we collect what you enter — typically your name and email address, and any message you choose to send.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring site, and time of visit.
- Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working (for example, remembering form or cart state), to understand how visitors use the Site, and to count page views and likes. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as intended if you do.
How we use your information
- To send the newsletter, free resources, and updates you asked for.
- To reply to messages, speaking inquiries, and support requests.
- To understand which pages and resources are useful so we can improve the Site.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam or abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Email communications
Email subscriptions are managed in our own WordPress-based system. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You may also email belinda@belindajackson.com and we will remove you.
Service providers and third parties
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed for that purpose. These include our web host (Hostinger), Google (Analytics and Site Kit, for traffic statistics), our email-delivery service, and social-sharing tools. Links to Amazon and other retailers take you to their sites; any purchase you make there is governed by that retailer’s own privacy policy. Embedded content (such as videos) may set its own cookies when you interact with it.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Site, our visitors, or others.
Children’s privacy
Many of our books are written for children, but the Site is intended to be used by parents, educators, and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at belinda@belindajackson.com and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email belinda@belindajackson.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
